To: All of the little girls and boys who need to hear that they are beautiful when they smile:
The Power of Beauty.
Beauty surrounds us. It shines through grey stones. It pours between mountains. It travels on feathers and reaches the hidden corners of all our senses. It stops your breath and heartbeats. It moves you and shakes you when you least expect it. Beauty. Someone's idea of beauty might be shared in a glance. Other's might be ignored - covered or forgotten. Beauty prevails and accompanies us, every step of our way. Share the beauty that shines through our existence and stop for a second, breathe it, sing it, draw it, cook it, scream it, wear it. Because it's yours. Your beauty.
Beauty - our inspiration for creation.
Whenever we think of beauty we think perfection, we think purity, we think about what is esthetically correct. However, beauty goes beyond these words, beyond our eyes. Effortless beauty: we strive for it, we long for it, we suffer it. And yet beauty exists. We expend so much time and effort to reach it. How many days and mirrors have we used to achieve beauty? Yet, it's all around us to enjoy. It's inside of us. and in our souls. Some people live in beauty every day and they share it, they show it. If beauty is not witnessed through the soul, it's not real beauty. It's what the world taught us to perceive as beautiful. Let's stop the chaos in our mind and just enjoy the beauty that exists in the now, today, living among us and within us.
This is the Power of Beauty.
We are responsible for teaching the next generation to perceive the real beauty. Let's not ignore how fragile our minds and conceptions are about it. We have in our hands the power to give back messages of hope and transcendent thoughts. It is our duty to ensure that our little generations learn to stop focusing on weight over health. On inner beauty, rather than absurd and impossibly perfect esthetics. On how beautiful their smile and laughter are.

Canela-Canela would like to dedicate this little space to our children and their hearts. Even on the highest stilettos we should never forget about kissing the little heads that are looking up at us.
